It's very common to hear from kids that they want to be pilots; ironically, most of them end up studying a totally different career. However, the pilot career has a very encouraging outlook. Salaries are high and working conditions are good.
Back in the day, you needed to have military training in order to become a pilot. There are flying schools and courses certified by the Federal Aviation Administration where you can get your license for commercial aviation. An airline pilot would have to fill more conditions such as a minimum of 1500 flight hours and pass other kinds of examinations such as psychological exams, for example.
A pilot resume should be concise and it also should contain relevant data that will make you qualify for the job that you're applying to.
